The new Gunfight map Bazaar is now live in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Bazaar was originally set to launch alongside Modern Warfare Season 2, but was delayed for unknown reasons. Even though fans had to wait a little bit longer to try out the map, Gunfight enthusiasts will no doubt be happy to have another map added to the rotation. Bazaar is a three lane map with more vertical elements to it than most Gunfight maps, which should help it stand out from the pack.

Meanwhile, Ground War players can try a new variant of the large-scale game mode. Dubbed Infantry Ground War, this new take on Ground War eliminates tanks from the equation, retaining smaller vehicles and focusing more on boots-on-the-ground action. Those that prefer traditional Ground War can still access it, however.
While Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players are trying this new content, they can also look forward to the upcoming Double XP weekend. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be Double XP from February 28 at 10am PT to March 2 at 10am PT, giving players a great opportunity to boost their Season 2 rank.
Those that play the traditional Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer modes will no doubt be happy to try new content, but some fans may be more interested in learning about the battle royale mode. Even though it’s been leaked and even directly teased at this point, Infinity Ward and Activision are still keeping tight-lipped on the Modern Warfare Warzone battle royale mode. Rumors are that the mode will launch in just a matter of weeks, though, so perhaps more information will come soon.
Once Call of Duty: Modern Warfare adds its Warzone battle royale mode, there will be even more updates for fans to look forward to every week. Warzone will have challenges, and if it’s anything like traditional battle royales, its own Battle Pass and rewards to unlock as well. While fans wait for more news on that, they can check out this week’s new content in the meantime.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
