In the latest blog post detailing everything new this week in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Activision announced the availability of the Ghost Pack Contingency bundle available later this week. The pack itself contains two weapon blueprints including a Legendary Assault rifle as well as 10 ghost related items to really allow players to customize their look all the way down to their emblem.

However, the major piece to this pack is the new outfit for Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley who was added to the game all the way back in Season 2. Veteran Call of Duty players will likely remember this skin as his classic look from the original Modern Warfare 2. His modern skull mask is replaced with his classic black ski-mask with the lower part of a skull pained on, wearing sunglasses and his camo pants and grayscale jacket. While fans have been waiting for this bundle for quite a while, Activision unfortunately did not provide a price point. With 10 items in total, this one will likely be on the expensive side.
In addition to this bundle, Activision also revealed a couple of new playlist updates including a 24/7 mode set exclusively on the the new Hardhat map which was brought back from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Blood Money Quads is also making a return for the popular Warzone mode, though it arrival has left at least some fans wanting the Duos mode to make a return.
The arrival of this new bundle comes at a good time as the lockdown due to the global pandemic has proven to be a boon for the video game industry. As fans are stuck at home, sales records are being set for the first quarter of 2020 as spending on games and digital content skyrocketed. According to the NPD Group, the industry has seen a 9% increase form last year. These numbers are only expected to rise as Q2 of 2020 is really when the lockdown really took full effect.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
