Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the newest installment to the franchise, developed by Infinity Ward and released for current generation consoles back in 2019. The game takes place in a modern realistic setting and follows a group of soldiers that team up against a Russian invasion of the fictional country of Urzikstan.

There has been a lot of speculation about what the future of the Call of Duty series has in store, especially with all the mystery around the upcoming release of Call of Duty 2020. Now, during a live stream on Twitch, voice actor Jeff Leach has teased fans that there are exciting things soon to come for the game.

Jeff Leach is a voice actor from London, England, who voices the character Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and can be recognized from other games such as The Order: 1886, with more projects possibly coming up for the actor. Leach states that “…That dedication, that fitness-savvy mindset that we want to have from our character ghost. And there is so much more exciting stuff coming from Ghost in the future.”

Unfortunately, the news about Ghost’s character stops there, most likely due to Leach’s obligation of privacy protection with Activision, the game’s publisher. However, fans have started speculating the possibility of a sequel to the game or another skin in the current Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season 4 that could be revealed later.

Whatever news Leach may be referring too, it’s sure to have fans excited about the continuation of a beloved character such as Ghost. A more in-depth experience into Simon Riley with a side or back story could prove to be possible with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4’s huge file size. However, only time can tell about whatever new content this leak will take shape, but players will most likely be excited for whatever this update will bring to the series.
