As pointed out by Reddit user teallen96, the Modern Warfare Shipment 24/7 playlist has been tweaked. Now when Modern Warfare players play Team Deathmatch on Shipment, the scores goes to 125 kills. Previously, Shipment TDM matches were very quick due to the extremely small size of the map. By increasing the total score players need to win, Shipment TDM matches should now last a bit longer.

It appears as though Infinity Ward didn’t adjust the score requirements for other Shipment 24/7 game modes. For example, teallen96’s testing has shown that Kill Confirmed still requires 65 tags to win. However, it’s arguable that other modes like Kill Confirmed don’t necessarily need score extensions, as they have additional requirements beyond just killing enemies that already make them last a bit longer than TDM.
A lot of attention has been given to Shipment since its introduction to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare a few weeks ago, but it may soon have some serious competition. It’s been teased that Modern Warfare Season 2 will see the debut of fan favorite Modern Warfare 2 map Rust. Rust is essentially the MW2 equivalent of Shipment - an especially small map that ensures players are constantly in a firefight.
Like Shipment, we imagine Rust will be pulling double duty if it is added to Modern Warfare with the Season 2 update. This means that players will likely be able to expect a Rust 24/7 playlist where it can be played with standard modes, but we also expect it to be used as a Gunfight map. Rust’s small size makes it a perfect addition to the Gunfight map rotation, and should give the popular mode even more variety than before.
More specific details on Modern Warfare Season 2 are unavailable at this time, but we do know that Simon “Ghost” Riley is coming with the February 11 update. With Modern Warfare Season 2 officially starting on Tuesday, February 11, more details should come sooner rather than later.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
