Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players have been glitching into a door on the Piccadilly map while playing the Infected game type. The door in question is located out of bounds on the map, meaning that it’s pointless to use in other game modes since players won’t be drawn to that area. But on Infected, if someone is the last survivor and they manage to glitch through the door, all the enemy players will be alerted to their location. This creates a scenario where the person glitched in the door can easily kill the Infected players as they try to rush him.

We have encountered the Piccadilly door glitch in our own testing, and what ends up happening is that the player glitched in the door either calls for a tactical nuke or everyone just leaves the game. With more Modern Warfare players becoming aware of the glitch, it seems more people are deciding to leave matches instead of feeding the person abusing the exploit.

This is far from the first glitch found in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that lets players glitch through objects. The Call of Duty 4 map Shipment has a similar issue, as players are able to glitch themselves to the other side of the fence where they’re out of bounds and basically become invincible. Various other Modern Warfare maps have seen players use tricks to glitch through the ground, where they’re free to shoot up at enemies but are at no danger of getting shot themselves.

With these kinds of Modern Warfare glitches happening on multiple maps, one would hope that Infinity Ward has a fix in mind to solve the issue. However, nothing official has been announced at the time of this writing. Hopefully a fix comes soon, but until then, Modern Warfare players may want to avoid Piccadilly when playing Infected.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
