The trials take place in maps such as Vacant, Hackney Yard, Piccadilly, Docks, Stack, and Euphrates Bridge. Furthermore, they are designed to test a variety of skills with the Marksman Challenge acting as a race against the clock as you kill enemies and the Shooting Range focusing on using as little ammo as possible to kill your targets. These new trials in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare are worth 10,000 XP if a 3-star ranking is achieved, and if players complete all four challenges they receive an additional 40,000 XP. The full list of trials is below.
Gun Course – This mode is on Vacant with smoke variations, the goal is to make it through the course as quickly as possible while killing targets and dodging civilian casualties. Shooting Range – This trial can be played on Docks with rifles and on Stack with shotguns, the goal is to find and shoot all targets in the area while using as little ammo as possible. Risky Parkour – This course can be played on Hackney Yard, Piccadilly, Gun Runner, and the idea is to get to each checkpoint and finish the course as fast as possible. Beware of the heavy toxic gas on low ground. Marksman Challenge – This can be played on Euphrates Bridge with either a sniper rifle or a handgun and it is a wave-based game and players need to wipe out enemies before the clock runs out.

It will be interesting to see what comes next for the franchise, at the moment there seems to be a focus at adding to Modern Warfare to keep fans happy and entertained.
