The most notable changes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Update 1.10 are the new maps and modes. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players can now play a new version of the classic Call of Duty 4 map Crash, as well as jump in the new Ground War map Port. Additionally, the 2v2 Gunfight mode has gotten some love, with the addition of the new maps Atrium and Cargo. A new multiplayer mode called Reinforce has been added, along with a new Crash 24/7 playlist, but they come at the expense of Gun Game, Shoot House 24/7, and the 2v2 Gunfight Tournament, which have all been removed in the new update.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Update 1.10 also aims to fix some of the lingering problems and technical issues that have been plaguing the game. This includes a killcam bug that would make the killcam appear under the map and another issue where players would sometimes get stuck inside vehicles.

The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Update 1.10 is light on balance changes, but there are still some in the patch. The Riot Shield is getting tweaked, with Infinity Ward experimenting with how much explosive damage it can block and much it protects the player when a grenade is thrown at their feet. The .357 Buckshot weapon is also being changed in Update 1.10, with Infinity Ward nerfing the shotgun by by reducing its damage range and its hip fire effectiveness.

Moving forward, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans can expect weekly updates throughout Season 1, which will add new maps, modes, and perhaps even more balance changes.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
