In a recent tweet, Infinity Ward released its patch notes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s new playlist update. While these playlists grant die-hard fans fresh challenges on classic maps, the developer switches them out regularly.

This time, the update is replacing the fan favorite Shipment 24/7 playlist with Shipment 10v10. While the 24/7 playlist focuses on a variety of game modes, 10v10 pits a large number of players on a compact map to create chaos. Infinity Ward is also improving Gunfight with a new 3v3 Knives Only mode. For Warzone players, the update re-introduces helicopters to the game mode. The developer has also replaced the battle royale’s solos mode with the “Stimulus Solos” mode. Now, players will be unable to use the Gulag to respawn. However, they will still be able to keep playing with in-game cash.

In the Twitter replies, several fans did not respond well. While several fans demanded that Infinity Ward add Battle Royale Duos to the game, others criticized the addition of Shipment 10v10. Considering how popular Shipment 24/7 is, this response to its replacement is not hardly surprising. While it is a shame to lose a beloved playlist, the developer might bring it back soon. After all, it must keep changing up the playlists in order to maintain a variety in gameplay.

Despite whatever dissatisfaction its users might have right now, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Infinity Ward have plenty of time to address any issues. With over 60 million players on Warzone alone, and a promise to continue supporting the game on the PS5 and Xbox One, it’s clear that this entry in the COD franchise is going to stick around for quite a while.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
