However, it does seem that most of the game’s worst bugs and glitches have been fixed thanks to the launch day update, with this latest one only adding a couple of things - the big one being that one of the game’s main modes, Ground War, where two teams of 32 players battle it out, can now be played on the Quarry map with full-size teams. The studio has also fixed a certain issue players were having with the HC Cyber Attack mode, where some players found themselves unable to revive. The last addition is that the timer for the Defcon nuke - which activates in Domination mode and only when one team holds all of the opposing team’s flags for 30 seconds - has been extended to 45 seconds, most likely to give the opposing team extra time to stop it.

In the Reddit post, the studio also acknowledged an issue plaguing Xbox One owners. Despite the launch day update, a number of these players have found themselves unable to play it due to it crashing. While the developers seem to have identified exactly what was going on, we don’t know how much longer Xbox One players will have to wait until it’s fixed.
In addition, the studio expressed thanks for those who have been playing Modern Warfare’s campaign mode, stating that it is “overwhelmed with the amount of positive feedback [they’ve] read online.” Said campaign mode has stirred a bit of controversy due to its depiction of child soldiers, and even has a moment where players can shoot a baby, though what happens is somewhat unexpected.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available right now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
