Yesterday, Infinity Ward released the latest update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. While a smaller update, a number of nagging issues were able to be resolved including one major issue in a popular mode that has just returned.

Last week, the limited time mode 2v2 Gunfight Tournament arrived back into the game, promising new exclusive rewards like the Cover Me and Death Awaits calling cards, Bloodiest Diamond charm, and the Riptide M7 blueprint among other things. However, the mode has seemingly brought a bug with it as users are reporting an error message appearing during a match. The connection problem known as Jockworth is thankfully resolved as of this week’s patch.
Here’s the full patch notes for Wednesday’s update:
GENERAL FIXES:
Fix for Regiment tags not appearing as intended Fix for players receiving the “Jockworth” error while in Gunfight Tournaments Fix for a bug where numbers on the team roster and numbers on the COD Caster minimap did not correspond Pointman: Fix for an issue where Killchain scores were being given for killstreak kills without having Killchain equipped Fix for a CDL Gunsmith exploit
The patch wasn’t the only update this week as a new content release arrived a day earlier. Unfortunately, it removed 2XP from playlists but it also added some highly requested content as well. Just like the Modern Warfare 2 days, players can now 1v1 on the recently added Rust map. The Flotation Oxidation playlist received Rust and Shipment, the Reinforce game mode was also added, and players in Ground War can now battle on the Tavorsk District.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
