Sledgehammer Games is currently working on a rather serious problem that the game has had since launch, as many Call of Duty: Vanguard players have had issues with where they spawn. The developer noted that it wanted spawns to feel less random, as many players felt that they often appeared too close to enemy players, which put them at a disadvantage. The company followed this up with a survey to allow players to give feedback about how they felt about the new spawn system, as it was only implemented in a selected playlist for the time being.

Some Vanguard players have now encountered a strange bug that teleports them to the side of the nearest vertical surface after their death. A Reddit user was able to capture a video of the glitch in action, which shows them dying to an exploding motorbike and then being teleported onto the side of a rock. The player is still able to move around and fire his weapon, albeit while stuck to the side of a rock. The glitch can apparently be fixed by entering and exiting a vehicle and seems to be relatively harmless otherwise.
Thankfully, this glitch does not seem to be all that prevalent. Call of Duty: Vanguard’s aim assist glitch was both far more harmful and more common, as it would sometimes cause aim assist to fail in the middle of a firefight. This often resulted in players missing their target and ending up on the receiving end of an attack.
In other news, some Call of Duty: Vanguard fans are calling for the Whitley LMG to be nerfed, as they feel that the gun is extremely overpowered. This is owing to the fact that the Whitley LMG can deal a ridiculous amount of damage, can be equipped with a 150-round magazine, and has a high rate of fire.
Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer is also currently free-to-play for the next two weeks. This is a good opportunity for fans of the series who are yet to play Vanguard to try the game out, as it will still be a while before the next Call of Duty entry hits shelves.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
