After downloading the latest Warzone update, players will be able to get inside the bunkers, assuming they have a keycard. Warzone keycards can be found in random chests around the map, and while not every bunker can be opened, it does seem that most of them can be accessed. In any case, once inside, players will be find a bunch of orange chests, which are always filled with high-tier weapons, other helpful items, and of course, plenty of cash.

The first thing a lot of players do in Waronze is get their loadouts, so the high-tier weapons in the bunkers may not be of a lot of interest, but the significant amount of cash they could collect will definitely be helpful. Cash in Warzone can be used to bring teammates back to life, even after they’ve failed in the Gulag, not to mention purchase some of the most helpful items in the game, like gas masks and munitions boxes. Having a lot of cash in Warzone is sometimes the difference between victory and defeat, so it’s safe to say that there will now be players building strategies around looting the bunkers.

While the Warzone bunkers are now open, it seems as though the mysteries don’t stop there. The Call of Duty: Warzone bunkers have a second door in the back that can only be opened via a code, and they seem to remained locked at the time of this writing. There’s also phones in the bunkers that ring and when answered, players can hear a voice on the other end that appears to be speaking Russian.

Some fans have speculated that this mystery is teasing a big event in Warzone. Previously, Infinity Ward has teased that Fortnite-like events will be coming to Warzone at some point, and it stands to reason that the bunkers could be the catalyst of the game’s first big event.

In the meantime, it will be interesting to see what other secrets are to be found on the Warzone map after the latest update.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
