Still, most battle royale games have a duo mode, where teams of two compete for dominance. Fans are wondering when Call of Duty: Warzone will get its own variant of this, and a recent leaked teaser may provide the answer for this. Specifically it seems likely that Duos will come this season.

The teaser (shown below) not only detailed the new quad mode with the image of four players jumping together, but also confirmed the addition of Duos mode with an image of a team of two firing on enemies. Of course, this teaser was promptly removed from the website, but nothing escapes eagle-eyed fans wanting to know what’s next.
More than likely, this new mode will release during the third season, as it wouldn’t make much sense for Duos and Quads to be pictured together so close to the release of Quads if not. That said, given the relatively short run time of Call of Duty: Warzone seasons, it is possible that fans could end up having to wait until season 4 before getting to tackle challenges with their best bud at their side. Duos mode is a highly requested feature, though, and this teaser makes certain that the mode will be coming somewhat soon.
Call of Duty: Warzone’s season 3 is packed with great content, including new operators, maps, weapons, skins, and of course the Quads game mode. Although Activision’s Call of Duty: Warzone roadmap didn’t explicitly reveal whether Duos would be coming during the third season, it did leave an open ended “more to be revealed” tacked on to the end of the list, meaning it is still a very real possibility that this game mode could be coming soon. It’s unclear how this accidental leak happened, but fans of the battle royale game are certainly happy about it.
Again, while this is technically speculation given that the leak did not specify a release date or even a release window for the Duos Mode, the likelihood of seeing this new mode this season is pretty high. Until then, though, fans can occupy themselves with the new Quads Mode and the rest of season 3’s new content.
