Most Call of Duty: Warzone squads have a list of preferred drop locations. Some teams will look to get into high octane action quickly while others will want a slower start to the match that lets them build their preferred Call of Duty: Warzone loadout before they get into engagements. For any squads looking to mix up their drop spots, however, one Call of Duty: Warzone player has come up with a solution.

The tool is a random drop generator that was posted to the game’s subreddit by Reddit user themcfadden, although in a comment they clarify that it was made by their friend Matthew Creighton. The generator is simple but effective, splitting Call of Duty: Warzone’s Verdansk map into a grid of 42 sections that can be randomly selected for a team to drop at. The generator also features a toggle to stop the generator from repeating any of the ten previously selected drops.
The response to the post in the comments is largely positive, with many commentators saying that it has helped mix up their Call of Duty: Warzone sessions a bit. The only downside that some commentators point out is their match’s flight path making reaching their selected sector very difficult. Other commentators complain about not wanting to jump at contentious locations like Summit or Stadium since those locations are favored by Call of Duty: Warzone cheaters. Of course, the generator is fast enough that players can always respin it if they get a location that they refuse to drop at.
Regardless, the generator is a good tool for any players looking to mix things up a bit and looking to see more of what Call of Duty: Warzone’s Verdansk map has to offer. The creator also posted in the comments under the username ShepherdDog to say that they are looking to add other features, maps, and games to the tool. It will be great to see what all gets added to the generator as the comments indicate that it is something many players have been wanting to see for a while now.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
