Infinity Ward made the Call of Duty: Warzone Duos announcement earlier today, while confirming all of the playlists that will be available to fans this weekend. Along with the standard Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads options, it looks like Call of Duty: Warzone players will also be able to play Plunder Quads. There’s no mention of some of the popular Warzone limited-time modes like Blood Money or Classic Battle Royale, however.

This weekend is set to be the last one before Call of Duty: Warzone transitions to Season 4, so anyone that has yet to complete their Battle Pass will definitely want to play. The Battle Pass can be completed by playing in Warzone or the standard Modern Warfare multiplayer modes, and it should be easier to level up this weekend than usual.
That’s because Infinity Ward has launched a Double XP weekend for Modern Warfare and Warzone as well. This combined with the debut of Warzone Duos should give fans of the game plenty of reasons to sign on and play this weekend while they wait for the start of Season 4 on June 3.
It remains to be seen exactly what’s going to come with Warzone Season 4, but more information should become available early next week. In the meantime, leaks have given fans somewhat of an idea of what to expect when Season 4 launches. It seems as though Warzone Season 4 will have new weapons for players to add to their arsenals, and some dataminers believe that there are big changes coming to the battle royale map.
One of the most popular theories is that the Warzone dam will be destroyed as part of Season 4. That remains to be seen, but luckily fans don’t have to wait all that much longer to find out, as Warzone Season 4 starts on Wednesday, June 3.
Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
