Call of Duty: Warzone 2 will of course be the direct sequel to the series’ popular and free-to-play battle royale multiplayer game. It’s a standalone product and so presumably will be Warzone 2, although as with the previous release, it’s being built as a companion. It will feature a new game engine as well as a “sandbox mode” that will presumably allow some customization of matches. Specifically, the bug is affecting Call of Duty: Warzone’s Ghost perk. Over on Twitter, Infinity Ward confirmed that double XP is currently live in Modern Warfare, and will remain up until February 11th, when Season 2 launches. In addition, fans will also earn 2x weapon experience and tiers for the Season 1 battle pass at twice the usual rate, making the Season 1 rewards that much easier to attain.
