A mockup of the leaked Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 map suggests that a massive body of water will be present at the bottom of the play space. While swimming will apparently be possible in the updated version of Warzone, this area could still be detrimental to the experience if not done right. After all, players could find themselves frustrated if the sea combat is not fun, and if the area is just open water, the overall flow of the map could suffer....

Not mentioned in the Warzone Season 6 patch notes is the new Foresight killstreak in Call of Duty: Warzone. The Warzone Foresight killstreak is reportedly found in bunkers, but it’s possible that they will appear elsewhere on the battle royale map. The Foresight killstreak gives Warzone players a massive advantage, and so it will be interesting to see if Infinity Ward tweaks it at all in future updates. The latest Call of Duty: Warzone update removes helicopters from the game. The Warzone May 5 update patch notes specify from “battle roylae,” but it appears as though the helicopter has been removed from all Warzone game modes, Blood Money included. Infinity Ward has not offered a reason as to why helicopters have been removed from Call of Duty: Warzone, but there is one explanation that seems the most likely....

A stark contrast from the community rejoicing over the recent DMR nerfs, players are firing shots at Activision for the decision. The move was made due to the controversy regarding the Call of Duty: Warzone companion app, a tool that has been used by players to work around the game’s skill-based matchmaking. All players have to do is go to the Atlas Superstore, one of the new maps added with Modern Warfare Season 2, and then choose to be a COD Caster. This is according to Jacob Minkoff, campaign director for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Speaking to PCGamesN, Minkoff said that “multiple” playtesters have cried while playing the game. Minkoff didn’t specify exactly which scenes made the playtesters cry, so it’s unclear if the campaign missions we already know about caused this emotional reaction or if something later in the game did instead. So far, there are two Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign missions that we know about, and they both sound pretty brutal....

The official Call of Duty website had updated its Modern Warfare Remastered section recently, and it now contains a new line of text that suggests that players will require the Infinite Warfare disc inserted in order to play either game. Specifically, the line in question states that ““Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game download (game disc must be inserted to play Modern Warfare Remastered). Internet connection required.” One possible reason for why Activision has imposed this disc requirement is to avoid people who want to sell their copy of Infinite Warfare but still want to continue to play Modern Warfare Remastered....

It was already confirmed earlier that Call of Duty: Vanguard is getting visibility and audio changes, but it’s reassuring to know the changes will be made by the next weekend beta. The double XP weekend for Call of Duty: Vanguard, as well as Call of Duty: Warzone, has been long-planned. The official Call of Duty developer Trello has had the double XP event marked down for August 26 through August 28 for some time. Now it’s up to Call of Duty players to capitalize on the event, which is currently live. Don’t wait, because double XP will end after Sunday and Call of Duty: Vanguard players will be back to the normal grind in no time....

Most players have agreed that weapon leveling takes too long, and there are a few reasons why this is the case. For starters, Call of Duty: Vanguard’s gunsmith is more in depth than previous iterations of the system.
