Like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, the layout has been adjusted slightly, even if most of the map plays the same as longtime fans would expect. More emphasis has been placed on upper-level crates, with these now featuring destructible walls. This is, unfortunately, not the only issue that players are having with weapons in the game, as recently Call of Duty: Warzone players have reported another glitch that is stopping them from firing their weapons. One user shared a video of them being flashbanged by an enemy and then being unable to fire their gun, despite the clip showing that they were pushing the fire button. One of the purchasable items available at these Buy Stations is a gas mask which, as Call of Duty: Warzone players will no doubt know, allows the user to remain in the large toxic gas-filled areas that fall outside of the game’s slowly closing circle. One player, however, figured out that these gas masks could be used to secure a safe and easy win, with the player managing to find a way to remain in the gas unscathed while their opposition quickly perished....

Season 2 also launched alongside a large update patch, tackling many of the game’s bugs and issues. In Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Festive Fervor event, Krampus appears to go after the player with the least impressive objective score and will eliminate them unless the affected player manages to kill him first....

One such weapon is a new skin for the knife that turns it into a bloody cleaver. This Legendary Blueprint is not the only gory, but highly sought after, weapon wanted by the Call of Duty: Warzone community, though it is a neat one. To gain access to this blueprint, players must simply find the Gulag and open a chest in hopes of triggering a Treat rather than Trick....

As pointed out by industry insider Tom Henderson, Call of Duty developers have been noncommittal about whether or not Warzone skins will transfer to Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Henderson said that his own sources have described Warzone 2 as a “clean slate” when asked about cosmetics carrying over, which he says “implies a hard reset.” So while it has not been confirmed by Activision one way or the other at this point, it’s looking like Call of Duty: Warzone skins and other cosmetics won’t be transferring to Call of Duty: Warzone 2 when the new battle royale experience launches....
